Can you imagine the month where summer really hits and the heat sets in as the sky gets a little hazy

I've never found another pair of boots like them

It was too cool a plant not to give it a print of its own

Pulled from my travel sketchbook is this ink and marker piece created while sitting on a porch in East Texas

To distill such a complex plant down to mere shapes for a print is a complex feat

Hillside Cacti #4 Spring Cacti Can you imagine the monthWhen you look up the hillsides on the outskirts of Terlingua it can be hard to distinguish between scrub brush, sparse grasses and cacti. For the most part the colors are a mixture of browns and the occasional green. For this piece I looked to capture that texture and color.
