Harry Leamon Demonstrates Rocker Box, c1939. Transportation; Location Gold Run Creek May 10Harry Leamon demonstrates how a rocker box works on his claim on Bonanza to a man on the right. Harry Leamon came to the Klondike in 1898 when he was 22 from London England. He ran a roadhouse at Grand Forks and in 1917 he staked his own claim on No. 52 below Discovery on Bonanza Creek where he lived and mined for the rest of his life. He died, one of few remaining gold rushers in Dawson, November 28th, 1963 at age 87. He is buried in the Yukon Order
