This is a pecan nut half that is hollowed out on the back to make it lighter. I made a mold of a actual pecan then casted it in 925 sterling silver so that I could capture all of the intricate detail that there nature made in the original pecan nut. So the artwork is very realistic and accurate. The actual size is 3 4" tall by 1 2" wide. This is a nice size for a tie or lapel. See smaller size
