Unfortunately the repair is covering the makers mark but I would imagine that the piece is German in origin and possibly by jeweller Heinrich Levinger

The butterfly features an ornate filigree metal body set with red and green glass cut glass stones, each bezel set into a frame. The buckle fastens securely and is in good antique condition.
