A Gorgeous Large c.1900 French Giltwood Framed Overmantle Mirror sub-Antiques From an offprint of Archaeologia-Origin: French Period: Mid Late Nineteenth Century Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1890 1900 Height: 61 inches Width: 45 inches Depth: 2 inches The large rectangular overmantle mirror having the original rectangular heavy glass plate surrounded on three sides by the giltwood beaded frame, the whole showing distress commensurate with age. The original plate has some foxing but just the right amount to serve for character with a good spread of sparkle.
